This class is a beginning/pre-ballet and tap class geared towards those who have had little or no ballet/tap experience through beginning/intermediate pre-ballet level. Please be prepared to send your child with ballet slippers or bare feet for the ballet portion, and tap shoes or hard-soled party shoes for the tap portion, on dance class days. I am also happy to collect shoes the first day and hold them for the kids through the session. Children will need to wear something they are comfortable enough to dance in; ballet outfits are welcome but not necessary. Boys and girls are welcome.
Dance Out Loud Ballet/Tap Enrichment class meets on Thursdays, from October 10th– December 19th
2.5 yrs to 3.5 yrs: 1:15-2:00 p.m.
3-5 yrs: 3:30–4:30 p.m.
4 yrs to 6 yrs: 4:30–5:30 p.m.
Cost is $80-$144 per student, sliding scale, for the 8 sessions. Class size is between 5 and 12 students.
No JCC student will be turned away for lack of funds.
Class meetings: 8 weeks: Oct. 24, 31, Nov. 7, 14, 21, Dec. 5, 12, 19 (no class November 28th, Thanksgiving)

Checks should be made payable to “Dance Out Loud” and given to Ruth by Tuesday, October 22nd or sent to 2729 Wallace Street, Berkeley, CA 94702. Classes will be held at the Jewish Community Center in Berkeley. 1414 Walnut Street, Berkeley, CA, 94709. Please contact us for other payment options (Credit Card, PayPal, etc.) Also all non-JCC students should include a $25 yearly registration fee for Dance Out Loud classes.
Ms. Nanci, of Dance Out Loud, has been teaching creative movement classes at the JCC Preschool for many years, including when she was pregnant with her twin daughters, Annabelle and Tallulah, who just turned 6 years old. They will be joining the Ballet/Tap class and are super excited to be back at the JCC!
